We are seeking a highly motivated Media Manager to join our Marketing and Media Department.
Our new colleague will be reporting to the Media Director.
The role of the Media Manager is to oversee the company’s media efforts, including owned (websites, platforms etc) and paid media along with all available resources to distribute communication messages in the most effective manner.
The Media Manager should be able to determine which vehicle is best suited for each “piece of content” either offline and digital, directing all paid campaigns to the right channels and with the right mix, analyzing the performance of all campaigns with specific and measurable KPIs, serving the business objectives, maintaining brand consistency across channels, managing the media budget and fostering vendor relationships at the same time.
In detail, our new colleague, will:
- Orchestrate the national and international media strategy, ensuring a strong digital footprint, in line with key business objectives and KPIs
- Translate marketing briefs into successful media plans both for traditional and digital media i.e. evaluating all media insights, emerging technologies and trends towards setting an effective & efficient 360 Media strategy, taking into consideration the socio economic situation, the competition, the available budget as well as the pure Business KPIs
- Define the media objectives and ensure all related agencies performance according to the company’s strategy and business objectives safeguarding media budget efficiencies
- Cooperate effectively, handle and coordinate all partner agencies i.e. media agency for the media planning, buying in all media touchpoints
- Oversee the media plan and dynamically adjust
- Be alerted to react immediately on any upcoming challenges (i.e. competition challenges or a certain crisis that may cause the change of the company’s media presence and optimize/ change accordingly
- Design and overview of the media budget
- To oversee the company’s resources (timelines, budget, people, technology etc.) to propose precise spending estimates and budget targets
- Lead the content strategy and amplification
- To effectively design and amplify the company’s Content Strategy in order to shape the brand’s identity and breathe life into the brand
You will be a successful candidate for our job opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages is essential; any other additional language will be considered as an asset.
Professional Experience and other skills:
- At least 5-7 years of working experience in relevant media areas, with proven experience, preferably on customer’s or agency’s side, supporting major brand’s media campaigns
- Significant media experience across online/offline channels
- Proactive, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, unassailable focus on the basics, tenacious, accountable, enthusiastic
- Must be able to both think strategically and dig into the details of a campaign
- Significant financial management experience of budgets
- Ability to balance multiple, competing directions, identify and delegate tasks effectively and manage multiple projects successfully
- A keen eye for prioritization and continuous optimization. Ability to discern the urgency and importance of work.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, develop plans and execute based on them
- Ensure agencies have the knowledge, skills, resources and tools to deliver the desired service and identify opportunities for improvements
