distribution center supervisor

💼 Your everyday work-life 

• Report to Warehouse Operations Network Director and be responsible for leading and coordinating a workforce of ~100 people, including internal employees and 3rd party resources

• Direct and indirect people management in a multi-shift, high-volume warehouse environment work with management teams to observe disciplinary issues, attendance and performance of direct reports

• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellence in dispatching, identifying, receiving and ensuring quality of products

• Active involvement in the upcoming SAP EWM implementation, acting as a key operational stakeholder

• Collaboration with central supply chain, planning, customer service, IT and external partners

• Act as primary escalation point for warehouse operational issues and-user adoption

• Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance and warehousing activities

• Identify operations needing development and institute innovations to adjust current work practices and procedures

• Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, internal policies and ISO standards

🚀 As an ideal fit, you should have

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics

• Academic background in STEM fields (Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research or related disciplines) is a plus, supporting data-driven decision making and process optimization 

• Established warehouse supervisory expertise

• Understanding of WMS & SAP software

• Knowledge of conventional management and warehousing fundamentals 

• Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams through change and operational complexity

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
