On behalf of our client, an oil and gas company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Director to join its team.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. This role involves optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring the seamless delivery of materials and products. This role requires extensive experience and strategic leadership to optimize the supply chain and contribute to the organization’s overall success.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials across all stages of the supply chain.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to maintain a continuous flow of materials and products.
  • Manage distribution networks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in all supply chain activities.
  • Work closely with production, planning, and sales teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Monitor and report on key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, procurement, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
