Our Tax practice is one of the most prominent in Greece with extensive expertise, in depth knowledge and proficiency in both Greek & International Tax law. We act for international and domestic clients, providing tax litigation services, legal support for dispute resolution in pre-litigation procedures and legal tax advice. Due to continuous growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit a talented Senior Tax Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team in CPA Law.

This role involves leading complex tax disputes, advising on tax law matters, and representing clients in proceedings before tax authorities and courts. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tax law, strong advocacy skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax advice and tax litigation cases, including audits, appeals, pre-litigation procedures and court proceedings.

• Represent clients before tax authorities and administrative courts at all levels of jurisdiction, including the supreme court.

• Provide strategic legal advice on domestic and international tax matters.

• Collaborate with experienced professionals in KPMG Greece and abroad to resolve tax disputes efficiently.

• Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on the clients’ tax position.

• Draft legal opinions, pleadings, administrative appeals, court appeals, legal memoranda and interface with tax authorities.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor and/or Master of Laws. A master’s degree in Tax Law, International Taxation, or a related field, as well as

• Diploma/Seminars in tax law will be considered an asset.

• More than 10 years of experience in tax litigation, preferably within a multinational company, Big Four or top-tier law firm.

• Proven credentials & track record in handling complex tax disputes and tax law related matters.

• Strong knowledge of Greek and EU tax law; familiarity with OECD guidelines and in-ternational tax frameworks.

• Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.

• Fluent in Greek and English.

• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
