Key Responsibilities

• Advise financial institutions on regulatory compliance, risk governance, and supervisory expectations.

• Contribute to the assessment and implementation of regulatory frameworks and guidelines, such as Basel IV, EBA guidelines, ESG-related regulations.

• Design and implement risk management frameworks covering credit, market, operational, liquidity, ESG, and AI risks

• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies, aligning with industry’s best practices.

• Interpret regulatory developments and translate them into actionable strategies for clients.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in advisory and audit to deliver end-to-end risk solutions.

• Stay current with evolving regulatory standards and financial risk methodologies to ensure best-in-class solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Strong academic background (BSc and MSc) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Risk Management, or other related field. A Ph.D. will be considered an asset.

• At least three (3) years of experience Financial Risk & Regulatory aspects in at least one of the main risk types (i.e., Credit, Market, Operational, Liquidity Risk) and with a focus on at least one or more of the following areas:
  
  -ICAAP, capital stress testing, and capital management.
  -ILAAP, liquidity stress testing, and liquidity management.
  -Recovery and/or Resolution planning.
  -Integration of ESG in Risk Management frameworks.
  -Capital calculation under Basel IV.
  -BCBS 239 / RDARR implementation requirements.
  -Regulatory Reporting, e.g., COREP and FINREP.

• Data management and processing skills.

• Analytical, with problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box.

• Ability to prioritize various work deliverables with focus on quality and attention to detail, and to contribute

• to team’s work while meeting projects’ deadlines.

• Strong team-player who can easily collaborate within the team and a wide range of different stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.

• CFA, FRM, or other professional qualifications will be considered an asset.
