Key Responsibilities
Advise financial institutions on regulatory compliance, risk governance, and supervisory expectations.
Contribute to the assessment and implementation of regulatory frameworks and guidelines, such as Basel IV, EBA guidelines, ESG-related regulations.
Design and implement risk management frameworks covering credit, market, operational, liquidity, ESG, and AI risks
Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies, aligning with industry’s best practices.
Interpret regulatory developments and translate them into actionable strategies for clients.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in advisory and audit to deliver end-to-end risk solutions.
Stay current with evolving regulatory standards and financial risk methodologies to ensure best-in-class solutions.
Candidate Profile
Strong academic background (BSc and MSc) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Risk Management, or other related field. A Ph.D. will be considered an asset.
At least three (3) years of experience Financial Risk & Regulatory aspects in at least one of the main risk types (i.e., Credit, Market, Operational, Liquidity Risk) and with a focus on at least one or more of the following areas:
-ICAAP, capital stress testing, and capital management.
-ILAAP, liquidity stress testing, and liquidity management.
-Recovery and/or Resolution planning.
-Integration of ESG in Risk Management frameworks.
-Capital calculation under Basel IV.
-BCBS 239 / RDARR implementation requirements.
-Regulatory Reporting, e.g., COREP and FINREP.
Data management and processing skills.
Analytical, with problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box.
Ability to prioritize various work deliverables with focus on quality and attention to detail, and to contribute
to team’s work while meeting projects’ deadlines.
Strong team-player who can easily collaborate within the team and a wide range of different stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.
CFA, FRM, or other professional qualifications will be considered an asset.
