Our client, a well-established firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Energy (based in Athens) to drive business growth, lead a dynamic team, and develop innovative energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and expertise in energy management for buildings and RES.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the energy sector.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive growth strategies for energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions.

Team Management

• Manage a team of dynamic professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee team operations, ensuring effective project execution and alignment with business goals.
• Provide technical and strategic guidance to the team, ensuring continuous professional development.

Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Sources

• Develop and implement strategies for energy efficiency in buildings, aligning with regulatory frameworks and sustainability goals.
• Oversee projects related to Renewable Energy Sources (RES), including feasibility studies, implementation, and optimization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in energy management.

Strategic Planning & Compliance

• Ensure alignment of energy initiatives with national and EU energy policies.
• Oversee compliance with industry regulations and sustainability standards.
• Contribute to corporate sustainability and ESG strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in business development within the energy sector.
• Strong leadership experience, managing multidisciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency in buildings and RES technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
