energy consulting manager/senior manager

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to hire an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to join our Energy Consulting team.

We are currently investing in our Energy & Natural Resources Consulting capabilities to deliver exceptional value to clients by challenging conventional thinking, leveraging deep industry and functional insights, and executing with precision and rigor. We are creating a diverse team that works collaboratively and draws on KPMG’s wide range of capabilities across the Energy & Natural Resources sector. We partner with C-suite executives and senior leaders to grow, transform, and transact, all while creating and protecting value for shareholders, employees, and society. Responsibilities

• Leading and managing key projects in the Energy sector, including team development and leadership, project planning, task delegation, client engagement, budget tracking, and compliance with internal and external risk protocols.

• Engaging directly with clients and cultivating strong relationships across the Energy sector.

• Collaborating across other service lines within KPMG to ensure maximum value delivery.

• Advising on a variety of high-profile projects, such as energy sector transition and decarbonization, energy policy, regulatory advice and stakeholder engagement, market entry and expansion, energy market modelling & analytics, financing and investment, energy modeling and forecasting, energy technology & innovation, the future of gas, net zero strategies and low-carbon technology assessments, and more.

• Applying structured, strategic approaches to problem-solving, grounded in strategic, commercial, and transformation principles—while also thinking creatively.

• Driving proposals and developing new business opportunities within the Energy sector.

Candidate Profile

• University Degree in a Economics, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences or other relevant field.

• Solid experience in Energy services advisory, commercial strategy, and/or corporate strategy within the energy sector.

• Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects related to energy transition, decarbonization, or new energy technologies.

• Deep understanding of investment decision-making and corporate strategy.

• Knowledge of how emerging net zero technologies impact businesses and how to implement them effectively.

• Familiarity with new and emerging value propositions in the energy and utilities sectors.

• Excellent skills in report writing, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.

• Ability to deliver well-structured, compelling solutions to complex challenges.
