About the Role:
We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our Innovation & Technology team and play a key role in designing and deploying AI solutions across the business.

The role combines hands-on AI engineering with close collaboration with internal teams, with the aim of embedding practical, high-impact AI capabilities into how KAFKAS works.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI agents and assistants using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry

• Connect AI solutions with the enterprise data warehouse and third-party systems through APIs and data pipelines

• Evaluate and implement LLM-based tools with compliance requirements in mind, including GDPR and the EU AI Act

• Build proof-of-concepts and prototypes for new AI use cases identified through the AI Ambassadors program

• Collaborate closely with Power Platform developers, Enterprise Architecture and business teams to ensure end-to-end, production-ready solutions

• Monitor model performance, run evaluations and continuously optimize AI solutions

• Contribute to clear technical documentation and knowledge sharing with non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or another related technical field

• At least 1 year of experience in AI/ML engineering or software engineering with a focus on AI applications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry or an equivalent Azure AI/ML ecosystem

• Experience with LLM APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Azure OpenAI, and prompt engineering

• Good knowledge of Python and REST APIs

• Understanding of data pipelines and integration with third-party systems

• Very good command of English, both written and spoken
