Περιγραφή Θέσης

As our Control Room Operator (intern) based in Athens, you will be manning the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Control Room alongside the team. As an office-based resource, you will practice continuously monitoring and analysing the operation and performance of the PV (photovoltaics) plants under O&M (operations and maintenance) by JUWI within EMEA, alerting / interacting with the local site teams in case of incidents. 

 

*Eligible for university internship funding (Πρακτική Άσκηση)*

 

You can look forward to the following tasks; 

  • Utilize the remote monitoring system installed in the Solar PV plants, to continuously check the smooth running of all equipment (inverters, strings, sensors, etc.).

  • Analyze the daily performance of the PV plants, based on pre-specified procedures.

  • Identify, investigate (at first level), record, communicate and follow up on any incident of technical failure or underperformance of the equipment, on a clearly structured way.

  • Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System, to register, update and close incidents.

  • Exploit all potentials of the existing remote monitoring systems and contribute to the further development of monitoring tools, processes and procedures.

  • Closely cooperate with local EMEA O&M teams. 

Your energy is required

  • Student (University, ASPETE) in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental) 

  • Basic understanding of electricity and energy production 

  • Knowledge of English language (both spoken and written)

  • Good level of IT skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
