bi & reporting engineer

As a BI & Reporting Engineer at INTRALOT, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of robust, business-critical reporting solutions that support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making across our global teams. You will be working closely with data, BI, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Design, implement, and maintain operational and management reports (e.g., JReports).

• Develop and optimize SQL queries using relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).

• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and clarity in report outputs; resolve reporting issues.

• Support and enhance DWH/BI systems, with a focus on reporting effectiveness.

• Contribute to ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring reliable and well-structured data for reporting.

• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into reporting-ready data models.

• Assist in maintaining dimensional models, OLAP cubes, and custom BI reports.

• Maintain clear documentation and promote data quality and consistency.

• Stay informed on BI/reporting trends and propose improvements where relevant.

Job requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in report development, SQL querying, and BI/reporting tools.

• Solid SQL skills and experience with RDBMS or Datalake Concepts.

• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, JReports, or similar).

• Exposure to ETL concepts or tools (e.g., Databricks, MS Fabric) is a plus.

• Strong communication skills in Greek and English (written and spoken).

• A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
