Intellectica is recruiting a UI/UX Designer on behalf of its client, a fast-scaling technology and digital solutions company serving high-profile clients in the media sector. With a long-term strategic vision and strong leadership at the helm, the company is building a team of expert technologists and digital specialists to support media organisations in transforming their audience engagement, search visibility, and content performance through cutting-edge technology and data-driven marketing. Based in Athens, Greece, working in a hybrid work model and reporting directly to the Head of Design, the ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centered digital products.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead and contribute to all phases of the design process, from user research to final UI design

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions

• Develop user personas, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences

• Design and maintain high-quality visuals that align with brand guidelines and ensure consistency across platforms

• Create and evolve design systems that support scalability and efficiency across projects

• Ensure designs adhere to responsive design principles, mobile app design standards, and accessibility best practices

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and content creators, to deliver seamless digital products

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously elevate design solutions

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, ideally within a digital agency or media environment

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices

• Demonstrated experience conducting user research and usability testing

• Excellent visual design skills with a solid grasp of color theory, typography, and layout principles

• Proven ability to create and manage design systems while ensuring media visuals and brand consistency

• Familiarity with responsive design, mobile app design guidelines, and accessibility design specifications and best practices

• Hands-on expertise with industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work across web and mobile platforms

• Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
