Intellectica is recruiting a UI Visual Designer on behalf of its client, a fast-scaling technology and digital solutions company serving high-profile clients in the media sector. With a long-term strategic vision and strong leadership at the helm, the company is building a team of expert technologists and digital specialists to support media organisations in transforming their audience engagement, search visibility, and content performance through cutting-edge technology and data-driven marketing. Based in Athens, Greece, working in a hybrid work model and reporting directly to the Head of Design, the ideal candidate will develop creative pixel-perfect interfaces and ensure cohesive visual identities across digital touchpoints.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Design visually stunning and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile platforms

• Translate brand guidelines into consistent, high-quality digital designs

• Develop layouts, color palettes, typography, iconography, and graphic elements that elevate the user experience

• Build and maintain design systems to ensure visual consistency across projects

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of visual designs

• Work closely with UX specialists, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions align with user needs and business goals

• Prepare polished mock-ups, style guides, and design specifications for development teams

• Stay up to date with visual design trends, emerging tools, and best practices relevant to the media and digital landscape

• Ensure all designs meet responsive design standards and accessibility guidelines

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

• 2–4 years of proven experience as a UI or Visual Designer, ideally within a digital agency or media company

• Outstanding visual design skills with a strong eye for color, typography, composition, and detail

• Solid experience developing and working with design systems and brand assets

• Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility considerations

• Proficiency with industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual design work for digital platforms

• Fluency in Greek and proficiency in English, both written and spoken
