Based in Athens, Greece, and reporting directly to the company’s CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial planning, treasury management, and communications with financial institutions for funding construction projects.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Overseeing and managing the treasury function, ensuring effective cash flow planning and forecasting to support the firm’s financial stability and project requirements
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis processes; preparing detailed financial reports and presenting insights to management
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning, project finance, and overall financial management; utilize these models to assess potential investment and project viability
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with banking partners; negotiating and securing financing instruments for construction projects, such as bank guarantees, letters of credit and other relevant products
• Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards and managing financial risks
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and systems
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; MSc degree in Finance, MBA, or relevant qualifications (ACCA, CFA, CPA) are preferred
• At least 8 years of financial planning experience; exposure to bank management is considered a strong plus
• Advanced financial modelling skills are required
• Experience with ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)
