Intellectica is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on behalf of its client, an innovative and fast-scaling technology company focused on developing AI- powered systems of environmental protection in renewable energy. Driven by a clear long-term vision and strong technical leadership, the organization is building a high-performing engineering team to support the development, deployment, and scaling of the core platform, working across edge systems and cloud infrastructure. Based in Attiki, Greece, and reporting directly to the Software Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate will take a leading role in developing reliable, production-grade systems contributing to the continuous evolution of the company’s software products.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and continuous enhancement of full-stack software solutions spanning edge devices, backend services, and customer-facing platforms, delivering scalable and reliable systems for real-world industrial environments

• Develop high-quality, production-grade software with a strong focus on Python, building robust systems that process, manage, and analyze large volumes of operational and environmental data

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications, leveraging modern technologies, scalable architectures, and engineering best practices

• Take ownership of complex technical initiatives across the full software development lifecycle, from solution design and architecture through implementation, deployment, and performance optimization

• Monitor, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across distributed systems, ensuring high levels of reliability, availability, scalability, and performance

• Contribute to the development of distributed data platforms, enabling the collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of data generated from edge computing and IoT environments

• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decision-making, driving software quality, maintainability, and engineering excellence

• Partner with engineering, data, and product teams to deliver innovative features, improve platform capabilities, and create meaningful user value

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance products, processes, and development practices

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, developing and supporting production-grade applications

• Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code

• Solid experience in JavaScript and modern frontend development, ideally with React

• Experience building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications

• Hands-on experience working with data processing, analytics pipelines, or large-scale datasets

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production environments

• Exposure to AI-powered applications, Generative AI tools, Go (Golang), cloud technologies, IoT, or edge computing environments will be considered a strong asset

• Fluency in Greek and good command of English, both written and spoken
