Intellectica is recruiting a motivated and dynamic Senior Brand Manager on behalf of a company in the FMCG sector. Based in Athens, Greece, the successful candidate will be responsible for the entire spectrum of brand management, including market research, product lifecycle management and strategic development. This role requires strong collaboration with the Marketing team and other departments to define and implement brand strategies, ensuring the effective positioning and performance of the company’s product portfolio in the Greek market.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities
Define and refine product positioning, pricing, and value proposition across the portfolio
Identify opportunities for portfolio growth through market analysis, consumer insights, and category trends
Recommend new product launches, product improvements, and portfolio optimization initiatives
Contribute to annual brand plans, forecasts, and budget management
Monitor brand performance, market share, category dynamics, and competitive activity within the Greek market
Analyze sales data, distribution, and consumer trends to identify opportunities and business risks
Evaluate qualitative and quantitative market research to support strategic decision-making
Track product performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve growth and profitability
Conduct regular market visits and store checks to evaluate product visibility, shelf presence, pricing, and execution standards
Recommend corrective actions and initiatives to strengthen in-store performance and brand presence
Support the successful execution of product launches, promotional activities, and brand campaigns
Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of brand plans
Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and suppliers for the implementation of approved campaigns and business initiatives
Ensure consistency of brand communication and execution across all consumer and trade touchpoints
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Master’s degree in Marketing, MBA, and/or relevant professional certifications will be considered an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in Brand Management within an FMCG environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, sales performance, and consumer insights
Hands-on experience with Nielsen and other market data/consumer insight tools
Solid understanding of brand management principles, category management, and product lifecycle management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in digital marketing and brand communication across digital channels and platforms
Fluent in English and Greek, both written and verbal
