Intellectica is recruiting an ambitious and detail-oriented Senior Account Manager on behalf of a leading strategic communications and consulting agency renowned for its cross-sector influence across more than 13 industries. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the Account Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for strategizing and executing all communication and promotion activities for the company’s client, collaborate closely with directors, provide guidance to junior team members, and serve as a key liaison between clients and media.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Managing day-to-day communications with assigned clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of PR and communication activities
• Developing press materials, messaging documents, and media strategies in collaboration with senior team members
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, offering high-level strategic counsel tailored to their industry and objectives
• Pitching stories to media, securing impactful placements, and building strong, lasting relationships with journalists and media outlets
• Coordinating press opportunities, interviews, and client events from planning through execution
• Supporting the creation of strategic communication plans, presentations, and client reporting deliverables
• Attending client events and conferences as required, representing the agency with professionalism and insight
• Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance on execution, prioritization, and agency standards
• Managing project workflows, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with established KPIs
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

 Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• BSc and/or MSc degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline or a related field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in PR, corporate communications, or integrated marketing, preferably within an agency environment
• Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-channel campaigns and managing senior-level client relationships
• Experience in developing and executing comprehensive PR and communications strategies as well as organizing and coordinating events, ensuring flawless execution
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially in Excel & PowerPoint)
• Fluent in Greek and English
