Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Actively participating in the delivery of legal support as well as acting as a trusted legal business partner to stakeholders within the Group, including key management and other business divisions
• Serving as the Group’s representative to external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and governmental organizations
• Safeguarding the Group’s companies from legal and regulatory risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Offering expert counsel on a range of matters, including civil contracts, international public tenders, negotiations for overseas contracts and transactions
• Staying updated on legislative changes and in relevant case law developments
• Providing specialized advice on commercial, business and regulatory matters, collaboratively working with internal stakeholders and teams across all functions within the Group
• Engaging, overseeing, and coordinating external service providers, such as specialized lawyers and law firms in Greece and abroad, tax advisors, notaries, etc., concerning their designated tasks

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Greek Qualified Lawyer with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputable University in Greece or abroad
• 5-8 years’ post-admission experience in legal practice, either in-house with a multinational or listed organization or in a top-tier law firm
• In-depth knowledge of Corporate Law, Contract Law & Public Procurement
• Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
• Fluency in English and Greek with the ability to draft contracts and commercial agreements
• Military Obligations fulfilled
