Intellectica is recruiting an HR Assistant on behalf of its client, a global leader in construction chemicals, with a well-established presence in Greece and strong growth momentum. Based in Kryoneri, Attiki and reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will take on a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating key HR activities, ensuring the effective and seamless execution of daily operations while actively contributing to a well-structured HR function.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Acting as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, supporting core HR processes and enhancing the overall employee experience
Providing support on HR-related matters, ensuring timely and professional handling of requests
Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality
Ensuring compliance with Greek labor law and internal policies, supporting audits and regulatory requirements
Supporting the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing strategies, screening, and interview processes
Managing onboarding processes, employment contracts, and employee lifecycle documentation
Supporting Learning & Development initiatives, as well as overseeing leave, attendance, and overtime processes
Assisting the HR Manager with ongoing HR projects and contributing to the smooth execution of daily operations
Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree will be considered a plus
1+ years of experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience in Learning & Development and employee training programs is highly desirable
Knowledge of Greek labor law and HR practices
Familiarity with HR systems and strong ability to manage and maintain employee data with accuracy
Experience in supporting multiple HR functions (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, L&D, payroll support, or administration)
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS tools will be considered an asset
Fluency in Greek and good command of English
