Intellectica is recruiting an Export Sales Executive, on behalf of its client, a leading Greek industrial company in the construction materials sector, with more than 60 years of presence and a strong international footprint across 20+ countries. The company combines high-quality manufacturing standards with a dynamic export strategy, operating through an established network of international distributors. Based in Aspropyrgos, Greece and reporting directly to the International Business Director the successful candidate will play a pivotal role to market development and revenue growth across multiple geographies.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Acting as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for a portfolio of international distributors, building long-term, trust-based relationships across assigned markets
Contributing to the development and execution of the export sales strategy across assigned international markets
Managing and expanding an existing network of distributors, ensuring strong partnerships and consistent commercial performance
Identifying and assessing new business opportunities, including entry into new countries and expansion within existing markets
Supporting and progressively lead commercial negotiations with international partners, in alignment with company targets and pricing strategy
Monitoring sales performance and drive the achievement of revenue targets within assigned territories
Ensuring structured pipeline management and follow-up on leads, opportunities, and partner performance
Analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
Planning and executing international business trips to strengthen relationships, support partners, and develop new business
Representing the company in international exhibitions and client meetings
Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., back-office, logistics) to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction
Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in export sales or international B2B sales; Previous experience in the building materials sector or a related field is highly desirable
Experience working across multiple international markets with an understanding of cultural nuances, consumer behaviors, and regulatory requirements to optimize market entry and expansion strategies
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus
Willingness to travel abroad frequently to engage with international partners and explore new market opportunities
