Intellectica is recruiting an experienced Cost Controlling Manager on behalf of an internationally recognized Group of Companies present in the Aerospace, Defense, Security and High Technology markets. Based in Attiki, Greece and reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient procurement and supply chain processes while maintaining financial integrity and cost-effectiveness.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing and implementing cost control strategies to optimize manufacturing operations
• Preparing detailed cost reports and financial analyses to support decision-making
• Monitoring and analyzing cost variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations
• Liaising with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
• Reviewing and approving purchase orders and contracts, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints
• Conducting regular audits of cost control procedures and systems to ensure compliance with financial policies
• Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and inventory management
• Providing training and guidance to junior staff on cost control practices and procedures
• Any other work that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA) is a plus
• At least 5 years of experience in cost controlling ideally within the manufacturing industry
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost optimization strategies
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (advanced MS Excel skills)
• Fluent in English and Greek (both written and verbal)
