Intellectica is recruiting a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant on behalf of a leading freight forwarding company. Based in Aspropyrgos, Attiki, Greece, the successful candidate will report to the Accounting Supervisor and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Performing accounting entries and bookkeeping

• Reconciling bank, customer, and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy

• Performing balance sheet reconciliation

• Ensuring accurate reporting of income and expenses in compliance with MyDATA requirements

• Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions

• Any other task that may be required from time-to-time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting

• Experience with Category C books

• Familiarity with Greek Accounting Standards (ΕΛΠ)

• Familiarity with ERP Software (preferably Softone, Epsilonnet) is highly valued

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel

• Fluency in both Greek and English
