Intellectica is recruiting a detail-oriented Accountant on behalf of its client, a leading home furnishing company. The company is recognised for its premium kitchen and home solutions, combining modern design with functionality to create elegant living spaces. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the company’s Managing Director, the successful candidate will work closely with the external accounting office, supporting the accounting and financial operations of multiple stores.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Recording, processing, and monitoring financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and collections in compliance with C-Category bookkeeping standards

• Issuing and validating invoices, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies

• Managing supplier payments and banking transactions with accuracy and compliance

• Organising and maintaining documentation for accessibility and regulatory adherence

• Ensuring accuracy in customer and supplier account reconciliations

• Collaborating with the external accountant to ensure smooth tax compliance

• Communicating with branch stores and management regarding financial matters

• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting

• Familiarity with ERP Software and MyData is highly valued

• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel

• Fluency in both Greek and English
