The successful candidate will play an integral role in reviewing accounting entries, preparing financial statements, and processing monthly and annual tax returns.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Manage client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and tax matters

• Reviewing journal entries (Category C books), preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Greek GAAP

• Prepare monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT and income tax, utilizing internal systems for efficient reporting and client access

• Conduct regular client meetings to discuss performance and provide advice

• Utilize accounting software to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, providing proactive advice to clients.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions

• Any other tasks that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting from a University or Technological Educational Institute; Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications are a plus

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting & tax advisory services

• Proficiency in Greek GAAP, with exposure to IFRS being desired

• Extensive experience in tax processing

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting softwares

• Fluent in Greek and English
