Intellectica is seeking an Account Manager on behalf of its client, a dynamic and fast-growing provider of integrated telecommunications and energy solutions. With a long-standing strategic partnership with leading providers in telecommunications and energy, the company delivers tailored connectivity and electricity services to a diverse portfolio of retail and business clients. Based in Athens, Greece and reporting to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will join a dynamic Sales team and play a key role in managing existing corporate relationships while driving new business opportunities across the B2B landscape.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Design and implement account growth strategies, targeting business clients with needs in telecom and energy sectors, aiming to position the company as a comprehensive provider and build long-term, high-value partnerships
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, monitor contract performance, and proactively identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities across mobile, internet, and energy services
Conduct structured market research to identify potential clients, segment opportunities, and build a qualified sales pipeline aligned with company objectives
Engage with prospective clients through consultative selling, present tailored proposals, and manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into service
Conduct regular client visits and attend meetings to maintain strong relationships and identify new opportunities
Act as the primary point of contact for client concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
Liaise with departments such as billing, technical support, and customer care to resolve client issues, ensure service continuity, and deliver seamless customer experience
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
Monitor account metrics, usage trends, and client feedback, and report regularly to the Sales Manager on progress, challenges, and opportunities
Any other task that may be required from time to time
Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within telecom or energy sectors
Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large client accounts effectively
Proven ability to develop new business and expand an existing client base
Strong understanding of the Greek corporate market
Proficiency in CRM Systems and MS Office
Valid driver’s license
Fluent in both English and Greek
