logistics specialist (entry level)

INTERSPORT Athletics S.A, member of FOURLIS Group, is the exclusive franchisee of INTERSPORT trademark in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania. Currently, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist, to join our team!

You will coordinate the various stages for purchasing goods and services:

order, tracking, receipt, compliance checks and budget control. These purchases may be national, local or international.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily coordination with suppliers and forwarders, ensuring that products will be delivered on time combined with the lowest possible cost.

• Preparation of weekly import and export reports.

• Coordination of the entire supply chain up to the final delivery of goods to the warehouse and collection of all necessary documents from customers, suppliers, customs, etc.

• Checking invoices from suppliers, external logistics and delivery service providers and issuing invoices to customers.

• Creating reports showing monthly/annually transportation costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)

• Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred

• 1-2 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in a retail environment

• Good planning, organizational and follow up skills

• Very good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material

• Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
