Your skills

• Minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and administration (LAN and WLAN), ideally across a global, multi-site or comparable enterprise environment

• Strong, demonstrable experience with HPE/Aruba switching, or a comparable enterprise switching environment, including stacking/IRF, VLANs and L2/L3 routing

• Strong, demonstrable experience with HPE Aruba wireless (controllers / Instant / Central), or a comparable enterprise wireless environment

• Solid experience with network monitoring and working in an operational / NOC or comparable environment: proactive monitoring, alerting, incident handling and escalation

• Deep understanding of network infrastructure, routing, switching and secure network design

• Experience with Aruba ClearPass (802.1X, policy and role design, profiling, posture, guest) is a strong advantage; alternatively a solid NAC / 802.1X background and the willingness to take full ownership of ClearPass

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent English (C1 or higher) — fluency is essential, as English is the working language of the team

Your tasks

As Senior Network Specialist you own our enterprise campus and wireless network (HPE Aruba). The role is hands-on, focused on proactive monitoring and operations in a NOC environment.

• Design, configure and operate the enterprise LAN: HPE/Aruba switching with IRF stacking on the core, VLANs and L2/L3 routing

• Own the wireless environment end-to-end: HPE Aruba WLAN, including RF planning, coverage and performance

• Proactively monitor availability, performance and capacity in a NOC environment: alerting, incident triage and escalation

• Operate network access control with Aruba ClearPass: 802.1X, role-based access, profiling, posture and guest/BYOD onboarding

• Manage the network lifecycle: firmware/software upgrades, configuration and change management, backups

• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues, maintain documentation and help enforce secure segmentation
