ELVALHALCOR - Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division  is searching for a  RAW MATERIAL CATEGORY SPECIALIST with organizational and time-management skills to join our Metal Purchasing department team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:
•    Follow-up on purchase and sales contracts.
•    Continuous communication with suppliers and customers to process issues.
•    Creates purchase/sales contracts and cost estimates which are approved by the buyer and management.
•    Creates purchase orders.
•    Registers metal entries.
•    Gathers/verifies all necessary import and export documents. Sends purchase invoices to VIM.
•    Checks and processes domestic purchase payments.
•    Creates a sorting report and sends it to the supplier. Maintains and monitors the report for claims.
•    Creates a new supplier, modifies, and expands existing ones to other company codes. Updates on any changes concerning the supplier.
•    Evaluates suppliers and suggests improvement actions.
•    Develops tools and optimization procedures for daily work. Participates in new projects.
•    Reporting.
•    Organizes and coordinates exports of by-products/scrap.
•    Follows up on customer payments.
•    Preparation and categorization of environmental documents for their submission to the Ministry of Environment.
•    Collection and maintenance of financial and environmental documents from domestic suppliers.
•    Forwarding documents for signing by management and sending them to relevant parties.

Requirements:
•    University Degree 
•    Fluency in English, both oral and written (second foreign language desired)
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•    Sound knowledge of SAP ERP
•    Strong organizational and time management skills
•    High sense of responsibility with special emphasis on compliance with company’s procedures
