is seeking a QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER to join our team in our Fulgor’s Plant in Corinth, that focuses on the production of high and extra high voltage submarine cables, being one of the most advanced factories in the world

Duties and responsibilities

• Study international standards and customer specifications
• Issue and review technical documents
• Coordinate testing activities engaged in inspecting incoming materials, semi-finished and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Identify and investigate non-conformities through 8D methodology 
• Recommend, implement and monitor the required corrective and preventive actions
• Isolate all products and materials that fail to meet specifications and plan the retesting
• Analyze the risks for possible failures in the production and testing of the product 
• Initiate and manage improvement activities to address identified product defects captured during the manufacturing process
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the QC process
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide prompt and accurate feedback to other departments

Qualifications and Experience

•   MSc in Electrical Engineering (preferably Electrical Energy sector)

•  Up to 2 years of relevant experience

•   Familiar with Quality Assurance & Control Regulation (International & Local)

•   Fluent in written and spoken English (2nd foreign language is considered an asset)

•   Excellent knowledge of MS Office & MS Project

•   Planning and organizational skills

•   Time-management skills

•  Teamwork and communication skills
