To support the execution of the procurement process for departmental materials, spare parts, and services, ensuring the optimal combination of cost, delivery timelines, and alignment with Senior Buyers’ directives, while maintaining material and service quality standards in compliance with Company regulations and prevailing market conditions.
Responsibilities
Manages relationships with suppliers and consults senior buyers when necessary to make optimal decisions.
Informs suppliers about the technical and financial specifications of materials/services (payment terms, warranty, delivery time and method) to ensure high quality of purchased goods and services.
Handles purchase requests, reviews existing contracts and supplier purchase history, creates and sends Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
Receives and evaluate supplier quotations in order to select the most cost-effective and technically compliant offers
Manages the full purchase order cycle in SAP
Manages complaints and issues arising from collaborations with suppliers.
Coordinates loading schedules by entering requests into the Group’s logistics system and manages communication with suppliers to confirm and streamline loading procedures.
Qualifications
Mandatory
BSc preferably in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration or Engineering
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing department
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM)
Excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written)
Skills
Strong negotiation skills and contract management capabilities
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Understanding of basic principles of risk management and compliance
Results-oriented mindset and project management skills

Our industrial facilities in Bucharest, Romania produce a wide product portfolio which includes cables for indoor installations, power, control, industrial applications, low and medium voltage, are-retardant, are-resistant and halogen-free cables, mine cables, marine and special-requirement cables, telecommunication cables, signaling, remote control and data transmission cables, as well as plastic and rubber compounds.
