HELLENIC CABLES S.A. is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our team in our Plant in Eleona.

Responsibilities:

• Performs the tests and inspections provided by the quality control plan by applying the relevant work instructions and procedures of the department heads.
• Performs the required tests on standard samples in order to control the calibration - measurement accuracy of laboratory instruments & the necessary tests - analyses on cable samples.
• Reports to department heads any deviations from the limits or other emergencies and the results of the tests in the files of the Laboratory (printed and electronic form).
• Prepares reports with the results of the analyses.
• Inspects and maintains the laboratory premises clean and tidy, ensures the proper use and maintenance of good condition of the laboratory equipment.
• Follows the instructions and safety rules and uses the appropriate PPE.
• Implements the Health and Safety Policy and Rules (Laboratory Safety Rules, Chemical Substances Management, Use of Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Laboratory experience in Instrumental analysis (GC, DSC, TG / DTA, FTIR)
• Excellent knowledge of computers (office).
• Very good knowledge of English language.
• Team spirit and analytical thinking, initiative, method.
• Ability to work under pressure and efficient time management.
• Driving license will be consider an additional qualification.
