The Senior SAP MM-WM Consultant is a key role which is crucial for the digital transformation of ΕLVAL’s, and generally Aluminum segment’s manufacturing processes. The objective is to lead the design, implementation, optimization and support of SAP MM-WM solutions at Aluminium Segment plants. It requires a deep understanding of SAP MM & WM modules and entails working closely with cross-functional teams in the Aluminium segment to achieve company’s business objectives.
Key accountabilities as a Senior SAP MM-WM Consultant
Prepare and deliver functional specifications of SAP Materials Management (MM) and SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solutions, considering integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI, PM, PP) and other non-SAP Enterprise Systems
Lead the design, configuration and implementation of new SAP MM-WM solutions comprising any required migration activities
Lead functional, integration, user acceptance of any regression testing activities to ensure implementation follows project’s specifications
Provide training to end users, major stakeholders and deliver relevant Documentation
Provide ongoing support to ensure no disruption of business operations
Identify areas for improvement in current processes and propose innovative solutions for digital transformation
Collaborate with cross-functional corporate teams and/or external consultants, to ensure the successful implementation and integration of SAP MM-WM solutions
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
BSc/MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field
5+ years of professional experience in SAP MM-WM implementations, with a proven track record of success in at least one full cycle implementation project in S/4HANA
Experience in MM module: Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Elements, Invoice Verification, Valuation and Account Determination.
Experience in WM module: Order picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, stock management
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, workflows, PP Module, variant configuration and/or ABAP understanding will be considered as a plus
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
Attention to detail, critical thinking and decision-making ability
Analytical, organizational and time management skills
Proficient in English language

Our industrial facilities in Bucharest, Romania produce a wide product portfolio which includes cables for indoor installations, power, control, industrial applications, low and medium voltage, are-retardant, are-resistant and halogen-free cables, mine cables, marine and special-requirement cables, telecommunication cables, signaling, remote control and data transmission cables, as well as plastic and rubber compounds.
