As the Area Human Resources Manager, you'll lead with our values, embody our leadership principles, and adopt a growth mindset. You'll be responsible for driving Sales & Profit by setting and executing HR strategy. Your role ensures the Area has strong teams in alignment with the Global People Plan, while strategically focusing on succession planning, talent management, and leadership development. You'll also ensure that all HR actions comply with legal requirements and H&M policies.​

You will:

  • Develop a sustainable talent recruitment and hiring plan and strategy for the Area, while building and overseeing internal talent retention with follow-up on their development.

  • Collaborate with the area team to plan, organize, and follow up on introduction trainings for store teams.

  • Track and evaluate HR KPIs, initiating actions to support business goals.

  • Ensure all employees receive meaningful feedback, annual reviews, and have clear development plans in place.

  • Support the Area team and Store Managers in the development, identification and training of talents and promote talent initiatives in cross-functional collaboration.

  • Identify, analyze, and address training needs in your area, collaborating with support office teams to facilitate training.

  • Promote our values-oriented culture to provide the best experience to employees and customers; Recognize customer service behaviors and drive performance to ensure business success.

  • Implement and monitor adherence to global H&M policies and standards, ensuring compliance with local legislation.

  • Prevent and resolve employee-related issues.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH​

You will collaborate closely with the Area Team to support and ensure that Store Managers implement structured performance management for all employees in the stores. Together, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Additionally, you will work hand-in-hand with the Sales HR Manager and the Area Team to maintain high standards of quality throughout the entire employee life cycle. This collaborative effort will ensure that every team member is empowered, engaged, and equipped to contribute to the success of H&M.

WHO YOU ARE​

We are looking for people with…

  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources, retail leadership, or people management, preferably within a retail environment.​

  • Great understanding of the HR KPIs, with the ability to drive actions that support a fair workplace.

  • Proven ability to implement and follow up on high-quality recruitment processes, aligned with best practices.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with a track record of managing multiple initiatives effectively.

  • Good communication skills in both English and Greek.
