product cyber security engineer (hybrid)

Our client, a global leader in smart metering technology, is looking for a Product Cyber Security Engineer to join their R&D team in Thessaloniki (hybrid). This role will focus on integrating security and privacy principles into the development lifecycle of embedded and digital products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and implement secure product architectures across embedded and software platforms.

• Apply Privacy and Security by Design principles throughout the product lifecycle.

• Define and execute product security testing activities including SAST, DAST, SCA, code reviews and penetration testing.

• Develop and maintain threat models and conduct vulnerability assessments on embedded and IoT systems.

• Contribute to security automation and risk mitigation methodologies within the R&D organization.

• Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure security is integrated across the SSDLC.

What We’re Looking For:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with focus on Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and experience with git.

• Knowledge of encryption algorithms and protocols such as AES, RSA, PKI, MQTT, SITP.

• Experience in product security testing and related tools.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, GIAC) are a strong asset.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Excellent command of Greek & English (spoken and written).
