The role in detail

We are looking for a highly motivated Experienced Accountant to join our Tax & Outsourcing team in Thessaloniki. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day accounting activities of a portfolio of corporate clients, support financial reporting and tax compliance, and collaborate with both clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality accounting services.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Performing day-to-day bookkeeping and ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions

• Providing accounting and tax services to a portfolio of corporate clients

• Assisting in the preparation of management reports and financial statements

• Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure compliance with Greek accounting standards and tax legislation

• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes

• Liaising with clients to address accounting and tax-related queries

The key requirements of this role are:

• 4–6 years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Good knowledge of Greek GAAP and Greek tax legislation

• Experience with ERP/accounting software

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel

• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) will be considered an asset

• Ability to communicate in Greek and English
