The role in more details:

  • Participating in tax due diligence projects and delivering tax advisory support across all phases of the transaction

  • Involvement in tax advisory engagements requiring a solid understanding of various tax areas and strong problem-solving skills

  • Supervising a small team of tax professionals while ensuring high-quality review processes

  • Identifying potential risks/ tax benefits and propose solutions to complex issues

  • Acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Drafting detailed tax reports and memos following established team practices

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and be resourceful in making them happen

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Economics or relevant field

  • A professional with strong technical knowledge in various tax areas (especially CIT, TP and VAT) and a solid understanding of tax accounting and IFRS

  • 6 + years of experience in any audit/ control related field or role (due diligence, statutory / tax audit, tax accounting, etc.) or in consulting projects

  • Holding or being a candidate for ACCA, ACA, ADIT and completion of the KOE Long term Taxation Seminar (or of a similar program), will be considered a significant asset

  • Ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines 

  • Excellent English and Greek writing & oral skills and an experienced user of MS Office 

  • Effective communication and rapport building skills

  • Ability to deliver work of highest quality, documented in accordance with our company’s standards

  • A customer centric approach to finance and business operations

  • An extremely high work ethic
