Corinth Pipeworks is looking for an HSE Engineer to join the Health, Safety, Environment & Energy team at our Plant in Thisvi, Viotia.
In this key role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with legislation and corporate standards, while actively supporting accident prevention and continuous improvement across operations.
Your Role:
As an HSE Engineer, you will support the effective implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental policies and systems across the unit area and the Waste Treatment Plant. You will play a key role in monitoring compliance, conducting audits, investigating incidents and promoting a strong HSE culture throughout the organization.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, procedures and instructions
Manage and carry out regular HSE audits and inspections ensuring timely closure of all identified actions
Is responsible for the overall planning, application, control and check of the HSE standards and their certification process
Identify legal and other requirements (e.g. ISO) and acknowledge all necessary steps for the company's compliance to them
Coordinate HSE incidents investigation process ensuring all incidents are investigated and that appropriate, corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Ensure proper HSE training of all employees
Manage contractors and ensure that they comply with the relevant legal and other HSE requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience:
3–5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent command of English and Greek (spoken & written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work methodically, with attention to detail.
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety culture.
