What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the preparation of pastry food items as per guest orders or as assigned by kitchen management in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the pastry employee/s engaged in the preparation of desserts, pastries, confections, and ice cream, across the various meal periods.
• Participate in the production of said items following the standards set by the Pastry Chef.
• Assist in the planning for the pastry department according to the needs of the hotel and pastry kitchen.
• Ensure the correct and approved recipes are distributed to fellow employees.

What you bring

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience with a strong focus on pastry.
• Experience in a Michelin-starred Restaurant would be a plus.
• A Bachelor's Degree in culinary arts, pastry, or Hospitality is required.
• Exceptional precision and an eye for detail in plating, presentation, and flavor balance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
