About the Role 
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a Hostess to join our Mercato team for the Season 2026. You will manage guest seating and reservations, delivering a warm and professional welcome while maintaining the lively and approachable atmosphere of our Italian all-day dining experience. 

What You Will Do 

• Set up the host/hostess stand, review reservation book, and recommend room setup. 

• Inspect dining areas and tables prior to opening. 

• Develop complete working knowledge of menus, menu ingredients, and daily unavailable items. 

• Assign seating according to guest preferences and service standards. 

• Maintain station chart and cover count using the Open Table system. 

• Handle guests without reservations and lost & found items. 

• Answer telephones and take reservations according to Four Seasons standards. 

• Anticipate guest needs, respond to inquiries, and ensure satisfaction. 

• Collaborate with culinary, stewarding, and housekeeping teams. 

• Assist with food & beverage service across all meal periods, events, and in-room dining. 

• Ensure safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures are followed. 

• Complete other duties or projects as assigned by Outlet Manager or Director of F&B. 

What You Bring 

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience. 

• Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece. 

• Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume service is an advantage. 

• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Greek is an advantage. 

• Food handling and sanitation certification is a plus.

Schedule & Hours 

• Summer Seasonal Job – 5 working days per week, with 2 days off.
