As a Demi Chef de Partie Baker, you will play an integral role in creating exceptional bakery products and helping elevate the pastry department’s offerings.

What you will do

• Assist in coordinating the bakery team to prepare an array of bakery items, including breads, pastries, cakes, and more.
• Participate in the production of bakery items, following recipes and techniques established by the Head Baker or Pastry Chef.
• Support and motivate bakery team members, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
• Ensure all bakery recipes are followed and ingredients are supplied appropriately to maintain consistency and quality.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
• Assist in training and guiding Commis Bakers on proper baking techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Oversee the correct use and maintenance of bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and more.

What you bring

• Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, preferably in a high-end or Michelin-starred environment.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, including breads, cakes, pastries, and laminated doughs.
• Good leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a team of bakers.
• Attention to detail in the presentation, quality, and consistency of all baked goods.
• Ability to work independently, ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the bakery.
• Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines.

Schedule & Hours:

Permanent, full-time job, 5 working days per week, with 2 days off.
