The Production Supervisor oversees the production process and coordinates all activities to ensure enough resources are on hand. They can plan workers’ schedules, estimate costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand operational requirements

• Estimate production costs and prepare budgets

• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines

• Monitor processes and proactively resolve issues.

• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)

• Determine number of necessary resources including workforce, raw materials etc.

• Approve maintenance activities, purchasing equipment etc.

• Ensure production output meets quality and compliance standards

• Enforce health and safety regulations across the production floor

• Prepare and submit report to upper management

• Track, analyze and report on production KPIs

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as Production supervisor

• Strong knowledge of production management and manufacturing processes

• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts

• Experience in reporting on key production metrics

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and leaderships capabilities

• Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset

• Technical school diploma or BSc/BA in Business Administration or related field (preferred)

• Excellent knowledge of the English language
