We are looking for an Accountant, reporting to Finance Manager, with proven experience to join our finance team in Kifissia. If you have a strong background in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles all accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and expense recording.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulations.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing financial statements and reports.

• Prepare and oversee tax-related activities, including VAT declarations, income tax returns, Intrastat reports, and tax payments.

• Secure full compliance with MyDATA requirements and internal accounting policies.

• Monitor cash flow, payments, and financial forecasts.

• Collaborate with external (statutory, tax, etc.) and internal auditors, providing necessary support during audits.

• Ensure adherence to financial deadlines and regulatory requirements.

• Evaluate and enhance financial processes to contribute to continuous improvements in reporting and compliance.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS.

• Extensive familiarity with MyData Platform and ERP systems for accounting and financial reporting.

• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).

• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Previous experience in a company's accounting department ideally in the retail sector.
