As a Drive System Engineer (DSE) at Everllence, you will mainly work with medium-voltage motors, frequency converters, and transformers in a power range between 1 and 50 MW, for projects in various industries such as oil & gas, refineries, gas transport, industrial gases, and energy storage.
Your tasks include:
Technical responsibility for the timely, cost-effective, and specification-compliant preparation of engineering/bid documentation and acceptance of a complex electric drive system, including medium-voltage equipment, in collaboration with internal and external interfaces
Processing of a project or bid based on internal standards.
Reviewing, interpreting and commenting on customer specifications with regard to the drive systems scope of supply
Preparing detailed inquiry specifications and purchase specifications for procurement processes.
Technical evaluation of supplier offers ensuring compliance with the goal of forwarding technically clarified offers to procurement
Participation in component tests and inspections, remotely and/or on site
Participation in customer meetings
Technical clarification with customers, suppliers in collaboration with internal departments
Regular and close coordination with other project members from systems engineering, controls, design, and other departments
You can help us with these qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power or Energy Engineering.
Basic understanding of medium-voltage drive systems, including synchronous and asynchronous motors, frequency converters, and transformers.
Familiarity with IEC standards and their application in industrial projects.
Initial experience working with technical specifications, designs, or engineering documentation.
Strong communication skills to engage with suppliers and support discussions with customers.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and project teams.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Strong prioritization and independent working skills.
Willingness to travel (approx. 10–20%) depending on project needs.
