We are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at Eurolife FFH Life Insurance. As a senior member of the Compliance team you will drive the Company’s compliance framework, ensuring strong oversight across AML, FATCA/CRS, broader regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role reports to the Head of the Compliance Function.

Role responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, maintenance and implementation of the Compliance Framework in line with local and EU regulations.

• Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify, evaluate the level, significance, and scope of regulatory risks and oversee mitigation plans

• Stay fully informed on relevant laws, regulations, AML requirements, and FATCA/CRS obligations.

• Monitor the Company’s compliance with legal, regulatory, AML, and FATCA/CRS reporting requirements, as well as internal policies.

• Monitor and support effective product governance throughout the product lifecycle in accordance with IDD and POG regulatory requirements. Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of the AML Framework.

• Lead and supervise all FATCA/CRS Reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy, validation, and timely submissions.

• Investigate irregularities, AML red flags, and complex compliance issues.

• Coordinate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting in line with regulatory and corporate sustainability requirements.

• Design and deliver across the organization compliance training programs on existing and upcoming regulatory obligations (incl. AML and FATCA/CRS compliance), and the business impact of non-compliance.

• Prepare compliance reports for senior management, and regulatory authorities.

• Escalate areas of concern and support decision-making at senior level.

• Contribute to the enhancement of a strong compliance control framework, including AML and international tax reporting controls.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to foster a strong culture of compliance.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5-7+ years of senior experience in Compliance within insurance or financial services sectors.

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences or any other relevant field.  Postgraduate studies or certifications in Compliance or Risk Management will be considered as a plus.

• Strong knowledge of Greek and EU regulatory frameworks (Solvency II, IDD, POG, GDPR).

• Familiarity with ESG standards and sustainability reporting frameworks.
