We are seeking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our International IT Core Banking & Integration Architecture team, within our International IT Business Analysis & Applications Unit.
By joining this role, you’ll be part of the International IT Business Analysis Team and you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and providing services to Group subsidiaries across multiple countries (Cyprus, Bulgaria, Luxemburg). Your responsibilities will include key systems such as T24/FCM, where your expertise will drive seamless integration and innovation across our group's operations.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Analyze technical solution design documents and recommend, develop, maintain, and optimize robust back-end systems in a dynamic fintech environment.
- Core Application parametrization and support.
- Ensure effective configuration and maintenance of Core application platform.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, QA, and product managers to deliver features that meet business needs.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
- Proven experience in first-level support and live production issue resolution, ideally within the banking sector.
- Solid background with Temenos T24 (e.g. COB support, core modules like Securities, Guarantees, Treasury, Accounting) and integration with other systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field. Postgraduate studies will be considered as an additional asset.
- Good understanding of banking processes and familiarity with Temenos Financial Crime Mitigation (FCM) will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of financial crime compliance areas such as Sanctions Screening, PEP Matching, KYC risk scoring, AML transaction monitoring, and fraud mitigation will be considered a strong asset.
- Solid programming skills in Java, Python, and scripting (e.g. Bash), and working knowledge of Control-M.
- Acquainted with Unix/Linux environments.
- Exposure in liaising with Temenos Helpdesk and navigating change management processes.
- Familiarity with IT delivery best practices, including structured change management and agile frameworks.
- Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Agile mindset, self-motivation, and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
- Experience in the European banking landscape is a plus.
