head of fx, money market & otc derivatives operations

We are seeking a talented, goal-oriented individual, with a solid knowledge of Finance, to join our team as Head of FX, Money Market and OTC Derivatives Operations Unit within Eurobank’s Markets & Funds Operations. The Unit’s main responsibilities are the settlement of the Bank’s Treasury transactions in financial instruments such FX forwards, FX Options, FX Swaps, IRS, CIRS, CDS, Caps/Floors etc., the handling of both interbank and clients’ transactions confirmations, collateral management operations (margin calls, valuation statements, portfolio reconciliation) & regulatory reporting. 

In your role as Supervisor of FX, Money Market and OTC Derivatives Operations Unit you will be responsible for a team of circa 7 individuals, overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high quality services, and cooperating closely with the Bank’s Markets & Treasury (Greece and International Subsidiaries), Market Risk and Finance Units.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Delegation and coordination of Unit tasks, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with Bank’s and Unit’s policies and procedures and that deadlines are met.
• Communication with cooperating Units and Subsidiaries.
• Solving issues and taking initiatives for the most efficient operation of the Unit, minimizing operational risk.
• Representation of the Unit in meetings and coordination of the Unit’s participation in projects.
• Provide specifications for systemic implementations related to Treasury Products in terms of settlement/confirmations & collateral management.

You will be a great candidate if you:

• Hold a Bachelor and/or postgraduate degree in Finance or a quantitative field of study.
• Have a solid understanding of financial instruments (Bonds, OTC Derivatives, FX products etc.).
• Have over 2 years relevant professional experience in a managerial position
• Are Proficient of the MS Office suite, with emphasis on MS Excel, and familiar with the use of new technologies GEN-AI, Robotics etc.
• Are fluent in English language.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude.
