We are looking for a talented, goal-oriented individual Derivatives & Brokerage Cashier Services Administrator with knowledge of Derivatives and Spot markets Clearing, to join our team for the position of Derivatives and Brokerage Cashier Services Operator, who will be responsible for the proper completion of the day-to-day operations of the respective departments and ensuring high quality services.

 

Will have to support Derivatives Clearing procedures, the End of Day processes and, also will have to execute accounting entries that are produced by On-exchange transactions, reconciliation of related general ledger accounts, preparation of financial reports, participation in UATs and projects related to the Unit’s needs.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Clearing & Settlement of transactions in Derivatives’ Markets, for the Bank and for other investment entities in the context of providing Back Office services.
  • Mirroring of cash entries executed in Bank Accounts to Accounting and Brokerages Systems.
  • Reconciliation of cash transactions, positions, accounting entries, Regulatory reports.
  • Managing of Collateral and Credit Limit monitoring.
  • Communication with external & inside partners.
  • Understanding the responsibilities of the functional role and following the Bank's procedures Reporting deviations.
  • Observance of banking secrecy / Code of ethics
  • Solving issues and taking initiatives for the most efficient operation of the Unit.

 

 

You will be a great candidate if you have:

  • Hold a Bachelor and/or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field of study.
  • Any related professional qualifications completed or in progress will be highly appreciated i.e Certification of relevant qualifications from Bank of Greece or Hellenic Capital Committee
  • Any related professional experience will be considered an asset.
  • Are Proficient of the MS Office suite, with emphasis in MS Excel.
  • Are fluent in English language.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility, and can-do attitude.
