We are seeking for a Corporate Relationship Officer to join our Business Center in Heraklion Crete, part of our Commercial Banking operations within Corporate & Investment Banking.
The objective of a Business Center (BC) is to build a strong holistic relationship with SMEs & Mid Caps (turnover > € 10mio) corporate clients, by providing both standard and tailor–made financing solutions and a range of ancillary products and services.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Client facing, business development, active marketing with local corporate clients in all sectors.
Preparation of credit approval proposals, periodic reviews, memos, and ad hoc presentations to the appropriate committees and management.
Cooperation with more senior team members regarding communication with internal teams (Legal, Loan Admin, etc.) and external parties (legal and technical advisors, valuators, etc.).
Active involvement in the full cycle of underwriting of financings, implementation, and day-to-day follow-up and monitoring.
Follow-up on the relevant markets from an investment and credit perspective.
You will be a great candidate if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a quantitative field of study (a postgraduate degree will be considered an additional qualification).
Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in credit evaluation and loan documentation (highly appreciated).
Fluency in English.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, agility, and a can-do attitude.
