The Head of Data Center Projects is responsible for the full setup, deployment, and operational readiness of EUNICE’s new Data Center. Reporting directly to General Management, this role carries end-to-end accountability across all technical and operational dimensions, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, external vendors, and critical stakeholders.
This is a strategic leadership position requiring deep expertise in data center infrastructure and operations, combined with strong program management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex, large-scale data center projects and establishing sustainable operational frameworks that support business growth and continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
Lead the planning, design, setup, and execution of the Data Center—from early concept to full operational readiness.
Act as the single point of accountability for all technical, operational, and programmatic aspects of the project.
Drive execution to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, facilities, operations, vendors, and contractors.
Define roles, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables across all workstreams.
Manage and mentor project managers, engineers, and coordinators involved in the program.
Operational Readiness & Sustainability
Establish operational procedures, governance frameworks, and maintenance strategies for the Data Center post-deployment.
Ensure compliance with technical, environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
Implement risk management strategies and escalation processes.
Governance, Reporting & Compliance
Monitor project progress, risks, and key metrics across all functions.
Report directly to General Management on timelines, challenges, decisions, and outcomes.
Oversee quality assurance, budget control, and vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities

Establish and oversee operational procedures, governance frameworks, and maintenance strategies for post-deployment operations.
Manage risk, budget, compliance, and quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Report progress, risks, challenges, and key decisions directly to General Management.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record in leading large-scale Data Center projects across setup, deployment, and operational phases.
Strong knowledge of core Data Center domains: infrastructure, networking, security, power and cooling, facilities management, and operations.
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse internal teams and external partners.
Experience managing direct reports such as project managers, engineers, and coordinators.
Strong problem-solving capabilities with expertise in risk management and structured decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
