process & manufacturing engineer (3365)

 is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented PROCESS & MANUFACTURING ENGINEER with a strong technical background and deep understanding of industrial processes, to optimize production and drive continuous improvement, in order to join our Industrial Engineering team in Oinofyta, Voiotia, Greece. 

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:
•    Leads process definition to identify centerline targets and document standards.
•    Reviews and updates process standards to meet business objectives.
•    Ensures that the processes are correctly defined and documented by developing instructions / procedures and provides adequate action plans.
•    Reviews changeover operations and coaches the production teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
•    Analyzes production data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities.
•    Leads and train teams on root cause problem solving activities on key losses.
•    Coaches the line teams on the technical understanding of the process and provides hands-on training on product / process / systems used in production.
•    Leads or supports projects in manufacturing, such as installation or modification of production equipment, new production technologies and processes.
•    Coordinates new product trials and their introduction to production lines.
•    Embraces continuous improvement philosophy, aiming at productivity growth, cost reduction & product quality development. 

 Requirements:
•    Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
•    3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industry, ideally in manufacturing, production, engineering, or quality departments.
•    Prior experience / specialization in metal processing production or manufacturing engineering will be considered a plus.
•    Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to communicate and work effectively with others as part of a team.
•    Fluent in both English and Greek (written and oral).
•    Familiarity with Lean tools and techniques is desired.
•    Familiarity with Six-Sigma methodology is desired.
