Due to our rapid expansion, we are now looking for Strategy Senior Consultants & Managers to join our team in Athens. They’ll be a part of a collaborative team that applies the latest thinking, research, analytics, and methodologies to help transform clients’ businesses and solve complex business matters, driving change for tomorrow’s working world.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant or Manager in our Strategy & Execution team, you will contribute to business origination by participating in client pitches, preparing presentations, and attending meetings to support project acquisition. You will be leading assignments or workstreams in large-scale consulting or industry settings, sometimes operating within demanding M&A timeframes. Additionally, you will advise clients across a variety of sectors, supporting senior decision-makers as they develop and implement business & transaction strategies. Core responsibilities will include:

• Project management – leading project teams or project workstreams comprising colleagues from differentiated professional backgrounds – both from a process and content perspective

• Problem solving – guiding teams to resolve important client problems and challenges – through structured thinking and innovation

• Business development – assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and attending meetings with clients to help sell work. Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work

• Building Relationships – Strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers

• Learning – Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

• Excellent academic background from a top tier university, including a bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or other similar diploma with a strong quantitative focus. An MBA degree will be considered as a strong asset.

• At least 5-7 years of relevant consulting experience in strategy consulting-centered role – ideally in a Big4 professional services firm and/or a Strategy Consulting firm

• Expertise across several key disciplines, such as:

  • Transformative Strategy, covering:

• Corporate, BU, and portfolio strategy

• Strategic business model transformation

• Value creation planning and execution

• Integration and divestiture strategy planning and execution

• Digital transformation strategy

• Go-to-market strategy

• New market entry planning

• Commercial / Operational due diligence

• Experience in one or more of the following sectors:

  • Energy and Utilities

  • Government

  • Infrastructure, including transport

  • Industrial Sectors

  • Consumer and Retail

  • Telecommunications, and ICT

  • Healthcare and life sciences

  • Security and Defense

  • Real estate and hospitality

• A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors

• Strong record of problem solving – successfully guiding teams to face difficult client challenges by applying innovation, structured & creative thinking

• Evidence of the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong business acumen to really add value to clients’ business

• Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greece and English and experience of producing and reviewing high caliber reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership

• Management consulting skill set including:
